What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlords require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation. The Tenants have lived in the unit for 9 years and have been unable to find a new place. The Landlord's child intends to move in with his family and is currently living in a trailer with his parents.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated as of March 31, 2022. The Tenants must move out by this date. If the unit is not vacated by March 31, 2022, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for eviction enforcement starting April 1, 2022. The eviction order expires on October 1, 2022, if not filed with the Sheriff before that date.
