What happened

The Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant, who was a superintendent, due to the end of her employment contract. The Landlords also sought compensation for damages caused by the Tenant or a person the Tenant permitted in the residential complex.

The ruling

The Landlord's application for eviction is denied. The Board found that the Tenant's employment contract was secondary to the residential tenancy, and the Board was not prepared to terminate the tenancy based on the end of the employment aspect of the agreement.
