What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant did not pay the total rent of $2,059.30 for the period from April 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020. The Tenant vacated the rental unit on July 31, 2020.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $2,041.68 in rent arrears and $190 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay by February 21, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
