What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant vacated the rental unit on April 18, 2022 and did not pay the total rent they were required to pay for the period from March 1, 2021 to April 18, 2022.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $4,073.15, which includes rent arrears up to the move-out date and the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 3, 2022, they will owe interest at 4% annually on the outstanding balance.
