What happened
The Co-op applied to the LTB to end the occupancy and evict the Co-op Member due to non-payment of regular monthly housing charges and persistent late payment. The Co-op Member agreed that she was in arrears and consented to a payment plan to avoid termination of her occupancy.
The ruling
The occupancy will continue provided the Co-op Member pays the arrears of $1,866 in monthly instalments and pays the regular monthly housing charges as they become due for 12 months. Failure to make any of the agreed payments will allow the Co-op to apply for an order to terminate the occupancy and evict the Co-op Member without further notice.
