What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the behaviour of the Tenant's guest, which seriously impaired the safety of other residents in the residential complex.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out of the rental unit by August 24, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $2,543.18 in compensation for use of the unit from May 11, 2021 to August 19, 2021, and an additional $25.18 per day from August 20, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 24, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
