What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy will be terminated on March 31, 2024 unless the Tenants pay $10,348.26 to void the order and continue the tenancy. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount, they must move out by March 31, 2024 and pay the Landlord $7,184.14 plus $56.37 per day for use of the unit until they vacate.
