What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The parties consented to the order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective December 15, 2020. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $11,004.53, which includes rent arrears and compensation up to December 15, 2020, plus $23.99 per day in compensation starting December 16, 2020 until the unit is vacated. If the full amount is not paid by January 26, 2021, interest will accrue at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by December 15, 2020, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
