What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's wilful damage to the rental unit, substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant, and committing an illegal act or carrying out an illegal trade, business or occupation in the rental unit or the residential complex.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 19, 2022. The Tenant must move out by that date and pay the Landlord $1,901.70, which includes compensation for use of the unit, the application fee, and interest if the amount is not paid by the due date. If the unit is not vacated by February 19, 2022, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
