What happened

Landlord applied for an order to evict Tenants because the Tenants occupy the superintendent's unit and the Tenants' employment as superintendent has ended.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenants is terminated as of October 5, 2020. The Tenants shall pay $2,204.10 to the Landlord in respect of compensation for the Tenants' use of the rental unit from October 25, 2020 up to and including November 24, 2020, and $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the Landlord the full amount owing on or before January 10, 2021, the Tenants will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
