What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears.
The ruling
The tenancy will be terminated effective April 30, 2021 unless the Tenants pay the full outstanding amount of $3,140.16 to the Landlord on or before that date. If the Tenants do not make this payment, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for enforcement. The Tenants must also pay additional compensation to the Landlord for use of the unit after April 21, 2021.
