What happened

Landlord applied for an order to increase the rent above the guideline due to capital expenditures. The ruling

The landlord may increase the rents charged by 5.20% for the units, with 3.00% increase from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019, and 2.20% increase from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. The landlord or the tenants shall pay to the other any sum of money that is owed as a result of this order within 30 days.
