What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the number of persons living in the unit on a continuing basis is more than permitted by health, safety or housing standards. The parties reached an agreement to preserve the tenancy.
The ruling
The parties agreed to work together to preserve the tenancy of Beverlee Smith. The Tenant's grandson Shawn Lampman shall not stay overnight or reside at the rental unit. The parties agreed to communicate through the Tenant's son and Power-of-Attorney Doug Lampman, who shall provide the Landlord with a written copy of the Tenant's Power-of-Attorney within seven days.
