What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlord claimed the Tenant refused entry to the unit for the purpose of pest control.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 6, 2022. The Tenant must move out by that date and pay the Landlord $4.57 per day for use of the unit from January 7, 2022 until the Tenant moves out, as well as $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 6, 2022, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
