What happened
Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent and the Landlords' need for personal use of the rental unit for at least one year.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 30, 2023. The Tenants owe the Landlords $5,000 after a credit of $1,972.68 if they vacate and leave the unit in broom-swept condition. The Tenants must pay $62.24 per day for use of the unit starting December 1, 2023 until they move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by November 30, 2023, they will owe interest at 7.00% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by November 30, 2023, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for eviction.
