What happened

Landlords applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Landlords also applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Tenant entered into an agreement to terminate the tenancy.

The ruling

The tenancy was terminated effective July 31, 2022, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant is ordered to pay $1,328.28 to the Landlord, which includes rent arrears up to the move-out date and the cost of filing the application, minus the rent deposit and interest on the deposit.
