What happened
Tenants applied for an order determining that the Landlord harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with them, entered the rental unit illegally and withheld or deliberately interfered with the reasonable supply of a vital service, care service, or food that the Landlords are obligated to supply under the tenancy agreement. The only remedy the Tenants sought was receiving a copy of their rent receipts.
The ruling
The Tenants' application is dismissed. The Tenants did not provide sufficient evidence to prove they paid rent for March, July and August 2020, and therefore are not entitled to the rent receipts they requested.
