What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant and Tenant's guests substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlord served a valid N5 notice, but the Tenant did not stop the conduct within seven days.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 14, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $7,479.70, which includes compensation for use and occupation of the rental unit from January 4, 2022 to the date the Tenant vacates, and the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by October 14, 2022, the Tenant will owe interest starting October 15, 2022.
