What happened

The ruling
The Tenant shall have the carpet cleaned by February 28, 2022. If the cleaning fails to remove the stains and smell, the Tenant shall pay the Landlord $250 for 50% of the estimated cost to replace the carpet. The Landlord's claim for damages to the laminate and vinyl flooring was not supported by evidence, and the Tenant should not be held responsible for the cost of painting the walls.
