What happened

The Tenants applied for an order determining that the Landlords failed to meet the Landlords' maintenance obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 or failed to comply with health, safety, housing or maintenance standards. The Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants, A.A.K and R.B.V (unit 106) because they did not pay the rent that they owe.

The ruling

The parties reached an agreement to resolve the issues. The Landlords shall pay various amounts to the Tenants, and the Landlords waived any rent arrears owed by the Tenants. The Landlords also withdrew their L1 Applications against certain Tenants.
