What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent.

The ruling

The parties reached a consent order. The Tenants shall pay the Landlords $14,586.00 for rent arrears, including the $186.00 filing fee, in 12 equal monthly payments of $1,215.50 starting November 1, 2023. The Tenants shall also pay new rent on time and in full as it comes due. If the Tenants fail to make any one of the payments, the Landlords may apply to the LTB to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants.
