What happened
Tenants applied for an order determining that the Landlord substantially interfered with their reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex, and that the Landlord failed to meet their maintenance obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006.
The ruling
The Landlord shall pay the Tenants $443.00 for the costs incurred in cleaning and sanitising the unit, and for the damaged dog bed, towels, and cleaning supplies. The Landlord shall pay the full amount by October 1, 2016, and if not, the Tenants will be owed interest.
