What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Tenant entered into an agreement to terminate the tenancy. The Tenant filed a motion to set aside the previous order, which was heard with only the Landlord's representative in attendance. The Tenant had vacated the rental unit on November 1, 2021 and did not attend the hearing.

The ruling

The motion to set aside the previous order CEL-02775-21 issued on September 24, 2021 is denied. The stay of that order is lifted immediately, and the order remains unchanged.
