What happened

Tenants filed a motion to set aside an eviction order because they paid the amount required under subsection 74(11) of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 to void the order before it was enforced.

The ruling

Order TNL-17478-19 is void and cannot be enforced by the Landlord if the Tenants pay $333.00 to the Board on or before December 15, 2020. If the Tenants pay this amount, the Board will issue a notice acknowledging that the eviction order is void, and the $333.00 will be paid out to the Landlord.
