What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persons permitted in the residential complex by the Tenant seriously impairing the safety of other persons.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated as of October 9, 2021. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before October 9, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $1,668.92, which represents compensation for the use of the unit from June 24, 2021 to October 4, 2021, less the rent deposit and interest the Landlord owes on the rent deposit. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $22.95 per day for compensation for the use of the unit from October 5, 2021 to the date the Tenant moves out of the unit, as well as $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by October 9, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
