What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques. The Tenants were not present at the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants void the order by paying $8,025.26 by August 23, 2022. If not voided, Tenants must move out by August 23, 2022, and pay $4,909.61 plus $44.35 per day from July 22, 2022, until they move out. The Sheriff may enforce the eviction from August 24, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
