What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy of the Tenant and evict the Unauthorized Occupant, Ariana Markle, who was occupying the unit without the Landlord's consent. The Landlord also applied to terminate the tenancy due to the Tenant giving notice to terminate.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlord and Tenant is terminated as of June 30, 2020. The Unauthorized Occupant shall move out of the rental unit on or before October 10, 2021 and pay the Landlord $18,172.70 in compensation for use of the unit, plus $39.94 per day from September 30, 2021 until they move out, and $201 for the application fee. If the Unauthorized Occupant does not pay the full amount by October 10, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% on the outstanding balance.
