What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants did not meet the conditions specified in a previous LTB order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 2, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $15,786.94 (less any payments made after August 2, 2023) by September 2, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by September 2, 2023, the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement. The Tenants also owe $73.20 per day in compensation starting August 23, 2023 until they move out.
