What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant vacated the rental unit on April 30, 2022, and the Tenant was in possession of the rental unit on the date the application was filed.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $2,985.54, which includes rent arrears owing up to April 30, 2022 and the cost of the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 13, 2022, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 4.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
