What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated as of August 27, 2021, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $9,114.00, which represents the rent owing less the last month's rent deposit up to August 31, 2021. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $201.00 for the cost of filing the application and $60.00 for NSF charges. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by November 21, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
