What happened

Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant operating an illegal landscaping business out of the rental unit, in violation of the zoning by-law.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 30, 2016. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $170 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the amount owed by September 23, 2016, they will start accruing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
