What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not void the N4 Notice by paying the arrears. At the hearing, the Tenant agreed with the arrears claimed and proposed a payment plan to maintain the tenancy.

The ruling

The Board ordered a payment plan for the Tenant to pay $2,600.00 in arrears and costs over nine months, starting October 20, 2022. The Tenant must also pay monthly rent as it becomes due. If the Tenant fails to make any payment, the Landlord may apply for eviction within 30 days of the breach.
