What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Unauthorized Occupant, Konrad Bojara, because the Tenant, Anna Mastalska, transferred occupancy of the rental unit to Konrad Bojara without the Landlord's consent.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated as of July 19, 2024, which represents thirty days after the Tenant passed away. The Unauthorized Occupant shall move out of the rental unit on or before March 2, 2025. If the unit is not vacated by March 2, 2025, the Landlord may file this order with the Court Enforcement Office (the Sheriff), so that the eviction may be enforced. The Unauthorized Occupant shall pay the Landlord $6,417.00 for daily compensation for the use of the rental unit from July 20, 2024 to February 11, 2025, and $31.88 per day from February 12, 2025 until the date they move out. The Unauthorized Occupant shall also pay the Landlord $201.00 for the cost of filing the application.
