What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to increase the rent by more than the guideline due to an extraordinary increase in municipal taxes and charges. The order was granted in 2015, but the Tenants later requested a review, claiming the Landlord had successfully appealed the taxes and the order should be recalculated.

The ruling

The above-guideline increase for municipal taxes and charges ordered in the original order is cancelled and replaced with a 0.73% increase. The above-guideline increase for capital expenditures remains unchanged.
