What happened
Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment of the landlords and other tenants, and for wilfully or negligently causing damage to the premises.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 6, 2022. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $7,164.86, which includes compensation for use of the unit, the application filing fee, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by November 6, 2022, they will owe interest at 4% annually on the outstanding balance.
