What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as required by a previous LTB order. The Tenant did not meet the conditions of the previous order to pay rent arrears and current rent.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 11, 2024. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $13,591.96 plus $57.29 per day starting February 1, 2024 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 11, 2024, the Tenant will owe interest at 7% annually on the outstanding balance.
