What happened

The Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to significant rent arrears. The Tenant admitted to deliberately withholding rent because of disputes over past payments and the Landlord's failure to provide rent receipts. The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective November 30, 2025. The Tenant is ordered to pay $25,800.24 for rent arrears and the application fee. Due to a previous motion to void during the same tenancy, the Tenant cannot void this eviction by paying the arrears. The Landlord is also ordered to provide all missing rent receipts from April 2023 to November 2025.
