What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants because the Tenants entered into an agreement to terminate the tenancy. The Tenants filed a motion to set aside the order, claiming they were intimidated into signing the agreement.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenants must vacate the rental unit by March 5, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $201 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by March 5, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
