What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenant was not present at the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective March 31, 2021. The Tenant must move out by that date. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $51.88 per day for use of the unit from April 1, 2021 until the Tenant moves out, as well as the $190 application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by March 31, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance starting April 1, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by March 31, 2021, the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
