What happened

The Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant attended the hearing and acknowledged the arrears but requested an extension to pay, which was ultimately not granted because the requested timeframe had passed by the date the order was issued.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 30, 2025, unless the Tenant pays $6,921.28 to void the order. If the Tenant does not void the order and fails to move out, the Landlord may enforce eviction through the Sheriff starting October 1, 2025. The Tenant is ordered to pay $4,980.24 for arrears and fees, plus daily compensation of $31.18 from July 30, 2025, until vacating.
