What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears.

The ruling

The Tribunal granted the Tenants' proposed payment plan to pay the arrears of $12,083.92 in bi-weekly installments of $750 starting October 15, 2022, with the full monthly rent to be paid on time going forward. If the Tenants fail to make any of the payments, the Landlord can apply to terminate the tenancy.
