What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

Unless the Tenants void the order by paying $11,066 by July 16, 2024, the tenancy will be terminated. If the Tenants do not void the order, they must pay the Landlord $10,137.39 and vacate the unit by July 16, 2024. The Tenants will also owe daily compensation of $30.84 starting June 12, 2024 until they vacate.
