What happened

The Landlord, a corporation, applied to evict the Tenants for non-payment of rent. The Tenants were properly served but did not attend the hearing. Before the hearing, the parties agreed to a payment plan for the rent arrears. The Landlord requested an order based on this agreement.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $4,735.15 for rent arrears and costs based on a pre-hearing payment agreement. The payment is to be made in installments starting July 11, 2025. The Tenants must also pay ongoing rent on time. If they fail to make any payment, the Landlord can apply to the LTB for an eviction order without further notice.
