What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective March 25, 2021. Tenants failed to pay substantial rent arrears and did not attend the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 15, 2022, unless Tenants void the order by paying $25,316.90 by that date. Tenants must pay $20,772.07 plus $82.62 per day from January 5, 2022, until they move out. If full payment is not made by January 15, 2022, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement.
