What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 1, 2021, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant is ordered to pay $1,297.15 to the Landlord, which includes rent arrears up to the move-out date and the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by July 10, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
