What happened

The Tenant requested a review of an eviction order issued on February 3, 2025, on the grounds that they were unable to participate in the original hearing due to technical difficulties. The Member found the Tenant's testimony credible, granted the review, and cancelled the previous order. A new hearing was held, during which the parties reached a consent agreement to resolve the Landlord's application for non-payment of rent.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays the Landlord $29,236.00 by April 30, 2025. If the payment is not made, the tenancy ends on that date, and the Tenant must pay the Landlord $26,527.49 plus daily compensation of $49.32 from April 9, 2025, until they move out.
