What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Tenants had vacated the rental unit on October 6, 2022, prior to the hearing date.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $442.23, which includes rent arrears up to October 6, 2022 and the cost of the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by March 31, 2023, they will start owing interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
