What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent and substantial interference/undue damage to the rental unit. The Landlord served valid N4 and N5 notices, but the Tenant did not void the notices or pay the arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective November 19, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $17,265.47, plus $52.60 per day starting July 22, 2021 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 19, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
